Bob Tail Lizards are very common in Western Australia. They are often found in people’s backyards, and are totally harmless. In saying that, if you try to move them they can bite, and it is painful (so I hear!). They love eating various types of fruit, but should be left to themselves. These can be seen at the Perth Zoo.
