Fishing at Carnac Island is a lot of fun, and if you get out there on a day where its as calm as the above photo you will have a lot of fun. You can easily get a good feed of tailor, herring, mackerel and various other species if you are a bit patient. WA Fishing is a lot of fun, but you need to find the right spots. Having a boat helps to increase your chance of getting fish ten times over though.
